About
Sutton Mental Health Foundation provides person-centred, non-clinical mental health support to adults living independently in the London Borough of Sutton. The organisation offers various services, including the Belmont Connect, a drop-in centre for social contact and activities, and the Sutton Crisis Café, which provides out-of-hours support to adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health crises. Through its Intentional Peer Support service, SMHF offers emotional support from trained peer support workers with lived experience. The organisation also provides support appointments for housing, cost of living, and IT hub access, as well as specialist advice in partnership with Citizens Advice Sutton and Inspire for drug and alcohol concerns. SMHF publishes The Voyager, a magazine written by service users, and needs volunteers.
