About

Southall Black Sisters challenges all forms of violence against women and girls, aiming to empower them and assert their human rights to justice, equality, and freedom. The organisation provides free advice, support, and advocacy to help women and girls live free from violence and abuse. Services include a confidential helpline and holistic advocacy for Black and minoritised women. The SBS No Recourse Fund offers a safety net for victims with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) to access safe accommodation when escaping domestic and sexual abuse, prostitution, trafficking, and harmful practices. They also engage in campaigns and provide resources for professionals. The organisation asks for donations to support its work.
