About

The Migration Museum explores the history of human movement to and from the UK, highlighting its impact on individuals, communities, and the nation. The museum aims to create a permanent visitor attraction in the City of London, set to open in 2028. It stages award-winning, story-led exhibitions and dynamic events, alongside a far-reaching learning programme for various age groups. The museum also maintains a growing digital presence and convenes a Migration Network for heritage professionals. Previously, it operated from temporary venues, most recently in Lewisham, and plans to continue engaging audiences across the UK through pop-ups and partnerships.
