Metro GAVS, also known as Greenwich Action for Voluntary Service, is the Council for Voluntary Service for the Royal Borough of Greenwich. It provides strategic leadership and capacity building support for voluntary, community, and faith-based organisations in Greenwich. The organisation offers training, advice, and resources to local non-profits, helping them improve governance, management, and funding. It also works to amplify the voice of the sector and fosters partnerships. Membership is open to not-for-profit organisations working for the benefit of Greenwich residents, or those registered within the borough. Services include support for setting up organisations, e-bulletins, reduced training fees, and one-to-one advice.
