About
Food Bank Aid UK is a community-led registered charity that tackles food poverty in London and Hertfordshire. It operates as a central donation hub, collecting and sorting food, toiletries, and essential household goods. These items are then distributed directly to a network of over 30 food banks across North London and Hertfordshire, supporting approximately 20,000 people, including 5,000 children, every week. The organisation relies on volunteer drivers and sorting teams to ensure donations reach those in need, aiming to nourish families facing food insecurity and work towards a city free from hunger.
