About

Bexley Moorings Project supports children, young people, and parents in Bexley with emotional wellbeing and mental health challenges. Established in 1981, the organisation provides early intervention and community-based support to help individuals build resilience, develop confidence, and strengthen relationships. Services include one-to-one befriending with trained volunteers, weekly group sessions for social connection, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for young people, and parental support networks and training courses. The project collaborates with families, schools, health services, and other community organisations to offer accessible, inclusive, and responsive support. It aims to promote wellbeing, inclusion, and personal growth for children and young people, ensuring they feel heard, connected, and empowered to thrive.
